Trondheim howto
About
Trondheim is in the middle of
Norway.
It is a 1000 year old town with about 140.000 inhabitants.
It's situated at the fjord and has a good salmon river running trough.
In June you can expect to see temperatures from +5 to +25 so be prepared
for a chilly and wet welcome, but hope for +20 and sunshine !
There is a growing flora of
pubs and restaurants.
Howto get there
The most convenient is by plane via Oslo. There is a busservice for each plane
that takes you to Trondheim in 30 minutes from the airport. The last stop
is close to mark no 2 on the
map.
You can plan flights from
Brathens
or SAS, the two main airlines.
UNINETT is located in Tempeveien 22 which is a couple of kilometers south
og the city center. See where from the network map. The offices
are in the 4'th floor counting from 1 of the socalled "Max-bygget".
The UNINETT location is about 30 minutes walk from the city center where
most of the hotels are located.
